The bigger issue was all the momentum he had when he got hired was smothered by the Nevin stuff. No bowl games. Less ships. Mario survived bad coordinators & being stubborn. Different circumstances.

Point was maybe Golden would’ve adapted if he had a different situation. Maybe not. Fun to ponder.

if he would have parted ways with D'no it may have been different. that said, we didn't score against Clemson in his last game.

Once again, keep politics off the football boards. Especially purposefully, inflammatory remarks that you know are going to **** off more than half the board

If you want to get political, there’s a place for it on TH, but there are rules there as well.

I think Stanford Samuels III played with Asante Samuel Jr. at FSU. Stanford Samuels Jr is about the same age as Asante Sr.

Blah blah. It wasn’t 63-0 (was it?!) but he was checked out at the end. Da Plane got him. He was not prepared for Banner season. Terrible timing for him to take job.

Penn State was the final nail in his coaching soul.

Those three are parasites. They will try to attach themselves to the program again now that we are successful again.
 
So how exactly did "HE" put kids in college and the NFL for 35 years ???? What a clown, any good talented kid that was around him or on his team was already good or talented. He 100% didn't make any of these kids better players or men with any of his coaching.
