PFF All ACC Preseason 8 Canes 1st team

You can hate on these lists all you want, but for the most part, it's been a fairly accurate reflection of the lack of talent of this program for years and accordingly, the win-loss record. I am glad to see that we finally have some decent representation. Hopefully it's a sign of what's to come.

I'm always intrigued by comparing the preseason lists with the post-season lists, you know, the ones that matter? For instance, I'm scratching my head at Zion (already mentioned enough on this thread) but actually more by Parrish because I see his playing time going down as the year goes on (Fletcher, Allen, and others competing for snaps).

Them boys big mad.

Zion if healthy is all
ACC quality. I personally wouldn't put him in first team until he proves he can play at high level again.

I wouldn't have James W on first team either.

ACC has some good DTs so I could see LT on 2nd team also.

Solid list.

But I used to get excited about these type of lists, looking for Canes, arguing whos underrated and should be on the list, only to be disappointed year after year....

Then I dust off the PS3 and play NCAA Revamped..... 🤦🏿‍♂️

🤷🏿‍♂️

Would love to see JW ball out.

Would have to think one of WRs will make 2nd or 3rd team at minimum if TVD and the offense is humming
