2027 Peyton Houston 4* QB from Shreveport, LA

Like him a lot as a prospect. He's on the smaller side though which I'd like to get away from after Coleman. Really wish we would pursue one of the top Texas guys next year like Nussmeier or Bryant.

Feels like some of you suckers would pass on Michael Vick cuz he's "too small." LOL. This is CFB, not NFL. Some things are not equal. For example, having a talented RB is much more important in college than NFL. Just like having a slightly shorter QB isn't that much of a handicap in today's CFB offenses.

In the trenches it makes complete sense to have the biggest, fastest, and strongest dudes… at QB someone who has the moxy, arm talent, and can scoot wins you a lot of ball games.

We aren’t an NFL minor league team we don’t need to keep taking the Judds of the world because they look good on paper

Word is LSU dropped a 7 figure bag. if true that’s crazy for a 4 star HS QB.

And in 3 years when he is ready to play, someone will ask where all the money went.

Sooner or later schools will need to learn that paying outrageous money for a high ranked QB out of high school has a high likelihood of a bad ROI. But until they do, UM will just keep hiring mercenaries ready for one more season before the NFL.
