If this is true, maybe this could be an example of a coach that had success at a program when they first hired him, he left, then he came back after X amount of years and it didn't work out.
 
Fat chance the guy would be willing to take an OC job at the college level when he's been a HC at the NFL level....but holy **** yes I'd love to have him an an OC if he'd even entertain the thought.

The fact he'd be a great hire pretty much eliminates him, however. We have the worst administration in the country who are incapable of making such a good hire.....if there was even a remote chance.

He'd have to be 100% clean for this administration to even take a look at him, and God knows he's far from that.

For the record, his offensive system which is predicated on shallow crosses and creates great run-after-the-catch opportunities would absolutely kill it with South Florida type premier athletes.

I remember a very short while ago where L'ville was being lauded as a model athletic department due to their success and commitment to winning.

Fake news bout to *** around and get Petrino fired out here lol. That man is on a short leash. Loserville tryna find anyway to get him gone w/o paying buyout.
 
Petrino hasn't been fired...yet.

But the timeline on his departure from UofL was pushed up a lot sometime during the 4th quarter of Purdue's beatdown of tOSU* last Saturday night.

Louisville wants Brohm and they're worried now that a bigger fish might get him.

Then get rid of Pastor Richt. An OC of the ilk of someone like Petrino would be a match made in heaven with the typical skill position talent we amass here on a consistent basis.

It doesn't even matter. A guy with as much pride as Petrino isn't going to take a college OC job and our administration is physically incapable of making such a good hire even if the opportunity presented itself.
 
The way he recruits knew he wouldnt do a **** thing there, and people were scared of that hire lol. Once Strongs recruits left and Pertrino stopped recruiting sfla......it was a wrap.
