Petition To Change The Name of This Website - CIS

I've been enjoying this site for many year, but each time I log on I become more triggered.

It has to do with the name CIS. I think it implies that this is a sight for non-transgenders only.

In today's age of PCness, it may be worth looking into a name change to avoid upsetting anyone.

Thoughts?

Great point, although I have no idea how CIS implies that the site is for non-transgenders. Regardless, we need a more inclusive sounding name. Suggestions?

Meh, now that pete is ghost writing for denegan its only a matter of time b4 he passes this **** show off to whoever offers him a lespadas sub for it.

I'm glad you bring that up.

Cisgender (often abbreviated to simply cis) is a term for people whose experiences of their own gender agree with the *** they were assigned at birth. Cisgender may also be defined as those who have "a gender identity or perform a gender role society considers appropriate for one's ***."

With enough momentum I think we can do it.

You know, if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.

Maybe there is nobody coming here and being trigger but if this keeps one person from becoming upset it's worth it.
 
I support your idea, rok. I'm glad someone had the courage to step forward and take a stand against this offensive site name.

At the very least, I hope they can blot out CIS when typed as if it were a curse word.

Instead of coming to this website and talking about the same old thing every day for the next months, thought it would be good to expand what we're comfortable talking about in here.

Anyone who disagrees, don't feel ashamed of coming forward.

Your bravery and determination are appropriating of the Native American people, therefore I cannot endorse this post or any subsequent constructs or deconstructs it implies or suggests. However, because changing a name is inherently anti-colonial, I feel that I must endorse the post on merit if not means. But because I do not want to subject my own bias over another's, assuming they/he/she/xim/xer is more marginalized than I am, I am choosing the non-binary reply that "we the people or others" should put it to a vote, assuming such a vote can measure each individual or collectives marginalization and raise or lower the quotient of their vote accordingly.

We are almost all amazing!

I've been thinking about this since my initial reaction. Why should Pete cater to mental defectives? If the name CIS offends trannies, then so be it. I'm tired of tiptoeing around a bunch of triggered f'aggots.
