That would be my only priority in hiring a new president.

On Saturday at Sun Life I had to laugh at Steve Ross' claim that the patchwork will be the equivalent of a new stadium. That dump is showing its age everywhere. There's nothing interesting about that place other than amazement anyone ever approved that design and that location.

Sun Life will be fine. I would rather we spend our money keeping our facilities up to date and paying for a top coach and staff.

But ask all of the people in the Shalala threads and they'll tell you that she was the only thing holding us back from getting a new stadium. So you guys can expect construction to commence on the on-campus stadium the day after she cleans out her office.

Honestly, IF a stadium did happen, near campus is muuch better than on campus! Gables is a really stuffy city to cram college football in the middle.
