Former UM running back Joe Yearby has resurfaced. He signed Wednesday with the Steve Spurrier-coached Orlando team with the Alliance of American Football, per former UM writer Peter Ariz, who works with Yearby’s new agent, Malki Kawa.

Yearby couldn’t find a job in football for more than a year after turning pro after his junior season in 2016. He stands to make $250,000 over the next three years in his new gig.

Former UM tight end Standish Dobard also signed with the Orlando team.

**** Pete and **** you for making a separate thread with same article.

At the end of the day its money over everything in our society. Ariz and Kawa are people that need to stay away from this program. They will convince kids that arent ready for the league to leave early and when they dnt make it drop them like a bad habit. These agents are ***** 🐍🐍🐍. When you see 1 snake, I see 2.

Yep. That's what cway doesn't understand, the posting isn't really about Peter (just curious how he gets his name into an article that really isn't about him), it's about Yearby and his situation.

I was also amused by quoting a 3-year salary, as if that league will make it 3 years. Maybe, maybe not, but it's funny.

Could have brought this same amusement up in original thread. Valid point, invalid thread.

Congrats to Yearby and Dobard.

250 over 3 years is still decent money.

**** they got football leagues aside from the NFL in this country where players can make over 80K a year??

Sheesh who knew 🤷🏽‍♂️

I just looked it up and saw that it was founded this year. Lol I must’ve been high and missed that news whenever it was first announced. The NFL might have some competition on its hands one day.

That’s great news for Yearby and Dobard! F that dork Ariz. He single handedly could cost UM an NC getting the DTs to leave early. He’s going to get beat down if he ever shows his face at home games.

Why the hate for Pete? Didn’t he used to run this joint back in the day? Asking for a friend...
