Peter Ariz's tweet about James Coley

James Coley called a direct snap to Duke for an end around to Dorsett to the short side of the field on 3rd down in the red zone at a point in the Louisville game when we needed to score. I will never be able to call him, "A great play caller."

you're listening to a guy who thinks he's LeBron James on the courts.

he's more like James Jones at best from what I heard: decent shooter with no D, below average athleticism, and poor ball handling skills.

Coley is learning on the Job, but at least the guy is sober enough to adjust the offensive philosophy to match the players on offense. Can't say the same about Dorito!!

With Coley, at the begining of the year, we were trying to pound people with a weak OL.

...Now Kayaa is leading a singleback offense, and slanging the rock!

James Coley separates himself as a big-time play caller tonight.

I don't know about tonight, but Coley gets way too much criticism on here.

Kaaya has gotten better as the season has progressed and our offense looks unstoppable at times.

dead last in 3rd down conversions with 4 and 5 star talent, please explain..........

Our 3rd down percentage suffered because of our first two games against Louisville and Famu. During the Louisville game Golden admittedly handcuffed the offense to the point where we refused to throw down field. We ran the ball into 9 man fronts the entire game.

Miami was still using a limited playbook for the Famu game per Golden's orders and when you combine that with a freshman QB, 3rd down conversions were down right terrible.

When you remove the first two games UM's 3rd down percentage is about 37%.

But you can also look at this way. Miami rarely is in 3rd downs as they have not had many 3rd downs compared to the national average per game. Miami normally does very well on 1st and 2nd down.

Coley is improving and he is not the reason (except Louisville), that we lost Nebraska and Ga Tech.

And he's an ELITE recruiter.

I'll be honest about this the offense looks like it's evolving or progressing.

So Coley gets a pass KAAYA looks really good we can't take away that he's statically leading the acc in td's and yards that's GOOD so I'll leave the offense alone hard to complain about being having more td's than everyone else.

Coley recruited and landed Kaaya. That alone gives him a pass in my book. Who in the **** has Doritos recruited and landed that is worth a ****?
