Honestly, I hope the SID and the staff start hammering these idiots. Ever notice that any time Miami starts winning in ANYTHING, it has to be "Shady"? They pulled this exact same crap when Miami basketball had the best two year stretch in program history. It was "L bought this run", when in reality, Miami was one of the most homegrown teams in the dance, with the bulk of the rotation being long term developmental guys(Wong, Poplar), or lowly rated transfers that most people didn't even think could play(Jordan Miller). Miami had two high end transfers(Omier and Pack), but it wasn't like the entire roster was like that, compared to schools like UNC.

Honestly, it's becoming more and more obvious that when these articles and think pieces come out, there's an ugly, and I mean UGLY tone to them, and honestly, I believe that some of it is pure bigotry. Take a good look at how IU is being presented, outside of Ponds, they don't say a **** thing about the Black athletes on that team. You can't pull that on Miami, because we have a team that looks like this nation. Our offensive line has kids from all over, same with our defensive line. We have a QB that is obviously not some polished wannabe politician. Our star wide receiver, who is a very solid young man, brings the look and heart of his community with him everywhere he goes. We know they can't stand it. F them.

WE HAVE TO WIN THIS GAME. PERIOD. IT'S NO LONGER A GAME, THEY MADE IT MUCH MORE THAN THAT.

The college football world is very afraid and rightfully so. Miami isn't just tossing money out there like many and striking out. Their spending money and doing it with diligence, getting the best guys that fit our mold. As TT has shown all of us, you can spend a boat load of money on a roster and that may get you a ticket to the CFP but that doesn't mean you'll score any points. Mario may **** his fans off by not moving as fast as other teams but he **** sure has disappointed with his results.
 
It’s a tale as old as time: Death, taxes, and these clowns hating on the Canes. You can REALLY tell we’re “back” by the way the media acts. For years when we were struggling they tried to show us fake pity and acted like they felt sorry for us. Now, it’s literally a hit piece every hour.

Several things irritated me yesterday so I left this alone rather than reacting emotionally in the moment. Negativity should be bouncing off us right now. This was not Nakos's only hit on us yesterday. I did give thought to how petty our coach can be and how awkward of a situation this puts Gary and Canesport in. This will be unfortunate for him. Mario will try to cut Nakos access and more. Nakos will feel it.

This is what ****es me off. Sub humans like Nakos will point to the Shapiro "scandal" as proof the Canes were paying players. That "scandal" proved Miami wasn't paying players. Shapiro said in one of the sworn statements he gave that Miami didn't buy players as any time they tried they got out bid by the SEC. Might have named Ohio State as well. Basically said Miami didn't have the cash for that. The "scandal" was Shapiro paying the players to be his friend which actually hurt Miami on the field to some degree. A school like Bama, LSU, Ohio State was giving kids $200,000 in cash to sign but once he got to school the coaches more or less ran the show and told them what to do, how to train, how to eat, etc.....they didn't have to worry about the teams money man having them out partying all night.

People like Nakos who are so incredibly comfortable spewing lies for a living would be liquidated in a decent society.
