FSU didn't ask featherson to grey shirt they asked McClain that's part of the reason he decommited

think we recruited Featherstone last spring and during the summer...so this isnt an out of no where type of deal..

I'd take him in a heartbeat

No. Andy was the navigator. He was all right. Buddy went to pieces. It was awful how he came unglued.

*Howie* came unglued?

Oh, no. Howie was a rock, the best tailgunner in the outfit. Buddy came unglued.

And he bailed out?

No. Andy hung tough. Buddy bailed out. How he survived, it was a miracle.

Then Howie survived?

No, 'fraid not. We lost Howie the next day

Michael Blackson(Langston) said that McClain was asked to greyshirt and he wasn't feeling that idea and that he was also a little shaky because Pruitt left who was his main recruiter. He also said that Pruitt advised McClain to stick with FSU and that it was the school for him. The board is actually happy about this because they feel like they are opening up room for a more highly rated player or two.

"There's been rumors floating around that Florida State commit Greensboro (NC) four-star defensive end Lorenzo Featherston will take a visit to Miami this weekend.

After speaking to a source close to the recruitment, I've learned that a visit has not been scheduled. Yet. It could happen and Miami is working toward getting Featherston on campus this weekend. If he does visit, I expect him to travel with his family and they will likely drive because it's too late to get plane tickets.

A source tells me Miami has been quietly recruiting Featherston for a while. This development isn't new, it's something Miami has been working on for a few weeks.

I should know more tonight or tomorrow on whether or not the trip will happen. I also still feel Featherston is a solid commitment at this point. Florida State did an in home visit with Featherston and his family last night and I'm told they know he is thinking about visiting Miami. "

These mofos aren't pushing him out, we would have just out recruited them.

Looks like FSU is going to get that 5* 6-6 290lbs monster SDE Malik Mcdowell.
