Pete et al. -- Who are the potential EEs?

Add in Young,Thomas, Yearby, Darling, Owens, KC and Mike Smith as well

That's 12 EE's. Since we signed 16 last year we can back date 9 EE's this year which means we can sign up to 37 players.

Not saying we will, but with 9 EE's, 37 is our cap.

Without attrition we have 54 returning players - the most we can take is 31. Depending on how Al wants to break up the scholarship reductions the number will be 28-31.

There are a few players like David Perry and Cory King who may be told that they won't get playing time and help them go somewhere like Bethune Cookman to graduate. Then we could take a max of 31-34.

David Perry is a redshirt junior so he's probably going to graduate at the end of this season. I guess that would mean it would be up to Al Golden to decide if he would want him back if David wanted to comeback.... which i doubt he would even want to anyway since it's not like he has NFL dreams at this point.

Corey King (redshirt Soph.) is an Al Golden recruit and DT depth is thin so i dont think he's going anywhere unless he decided to leave on his own for some strange reason.

we had 21 initial counters last year, so we can COUNT(we can take as many EE's as we want) 4 EE's towards 2013 and take a total of 29(25+4) this year:

Yes, but of those 16, I believe 4 of them were EE (Sandland, Sunny, Figs, Dobard)- doesn't that mean that those 4 count against the prior year?

Also, I don't think Naim Mustafaa is with the team any longer. Considering his very late addition I'm not sure how he's counted.

All these fake insiders. you think a player is saying he will be an EE if the coaches (who know the numbers they can take) tell him no?

no, because the prior year's initial counter limit of 25 was reached.

and the number is 21 for last year's class, not 16.

Naim enrolled and practiced. he is counted as an initial counter.

I believe there MAY be a clause that would allow him not to count...i will hunt that down.
