unless I've missed it, I feel like you've avoided discussing Choc's future with the canes.. tons of threads from posters, but I havent heard your "insider" take on where/what the staff thinks of him at this point. I have it on the recruiting board, because there's been talk from poster of moving him to WR, which would maybe effect how many WR's we end of taking this class. they've always claimed he was the most dynamic RB athlete we had, but was probably very inconsistent. with Gus and yearby probably gone, whats the word on Choc? he staying at RB and battle Homer, burns and Mcfarland?

Everybody's ready to write Cager off, but still think this guy's got a shot? I'd be shocked if he ever saw meaningful minutes at any position.

Makes the most sense.

If Yearby and Gus leave, Walton and Homer will clearly be the top two guys with McFarland not far behind.

Choc could be a nice weapon and add addtional depth at a thin position. He was a very good WR in HS.

I have never seen anything close to elite from Cager. By WR standards he is slow, struggles to get separation, and had pathetic YAC.

Cager played ok his freshman year. He got plenty of burn. Even started one week I think . Confident he will step up.

Chocolate is a question mark. I don't think we ever see him again at rb. Try him at receiver and maybe d. Bad case of fumbleitis.

Cager is a big time talent.

He ran a 3.94 20 yard shuttle at the 2014 NIKE Opening. That is almost unheard of for a 6'4" WR.

For comparison, Calvin Ridley ran a 4.15 20 yard shuttle at the same event.

Who is writing Cager off?

He will be the #2 guy next year. Elite talent.

Ok, maybe not EVERYBODY. But...

"I don't know...did he return his hooves for hands??

Other than than I don't see why you could consider him a JAG"

"Imo jag as far as a miami we cuz I expect savages. Maybe he can be a redzone threat he got size"

"cager at best will be a role player. i hope im wrong but he is not fast, extremely skinny, and has struggled with injuries since high school."

"im just tired of kids who arent um calibar. berrios and cager talk a good game since they got here. i dont care."

"i felt he was overrated. he was not fast and had injury problems in high school. just never saw it with him."

Cager played very well last spring before the injury. He and Kaaya were on target. Don't sell him short.

Berrios ran like 3.81...which i think would be top3 NFL all time shuttle.

It's so funny to me how quickly people on this board turn on players. Everyone was loving Cager last year because he was all about the U on social media and talking junk. The guy hurts himself in preseason and now he's a JAG? People on this board need to get a grip. It's frustrating listening to people that have no clue what they are talking about rip our players.

dude Cager is NOT elite. Calvin Ridley is elite. Ahmmon Richards is elite. cager could barely touch the field. he is praised for a catch he made in a blow out to UNC. stop. let him prove himself.

Agree with you 100%, just don't understand people sometimes.

Cager as a freshman showed potential especially as a safe target doe Kaaya. Had he not gotten hurt he'd have had a very good season
