Pete Ariz... Cmon man!

Had the chance to listen to - gridiron studs radio show featuring Pete.

1. If you don't stop stuttering every 20 seconds you will never be good at what u do.
2. How can u agree with Chad Wilson that Miami should lower expectations and accept that a 8-4 season is excellent for us?!?!
3. How in the **** can u agree that we are "Cincinnati" and we should stop worrying about recruiting 4 and 5 stars.

This is the problem that people fail to realize. We cannot lower expectations. The expectations at THIS CURRENT POINT IN TIME have already been lowered. We are not clammerig for a championship ever year... We just want to see improvement and a competent team that should beat other teams based on the talent differential. We can't even get that! Cincy beat us in every facet of the game. We have hit rock bottom and if people keep lowering expectations..the program will officially close the doors for good.

a good coach is all we need. The roster has arguably the most talent in the acc and definitely has more then any team in the AAC. With the right guy we would compete for a ACC title every year and major bowl.

Ariz is another shill for the school, he tried to get us to buy into the Unity bs from the start.

Kid loves Genron and Chad Wilson, enough said.
 
Is Ariz really boys with Genron and Wilson and did he really agree with Wilson's shot at his alma-mater?
Perhaps UM was right to pull his pass.

Consider the current state of the athletics dept and its teams. Now consider the current state of its student sports journalists. Pete could be absolutely killing it right now with tact/clever writing.

Instead, it's fear and intimidation. He's stuttering, because he doesn't believe what he's saying.

that shows he has no clue what Miami really is or what we came from. who do you think cincy and Louisville and schools like that aspire to be? they see what Miami did and they think they can do what we did. now you want us to accept that we should be what they are now and less than even they want to be. that is just the most ridiculous thing ive read or hear from anyone who understands our legacy and what we came from.

I haven't heard the show, but knowing Pete's views I suspect a lot of that is out of context.

And, speaking personally, I've got no beef with Chad. He was right about everything. His son is a good player and we should've offered him. If the staff did the smart thing, Wilson would be the program's biggest supporter.

People have to put "reporters" in their place by ignoring them beyond the role of reporting on events. The more their ego is inflated, the more insufferable they become.

EXACTLY especially when you are TWO coaches removed from a National Championships how can we say accept miami will never be back when we haven't had a competent head coach since BUTCH
