Like all of you, I was sorely disappointed in our efforts tonight. Literally could not get a ball to bounce our way. Catch my posts in the game day discussion thread, and you’ll know how ticked off I was/am.

However, let’s sit back and breathe for a moment; we just played in the ACCCG! Here’s the kicker though....we just played in the ACCCG w/o our best RB, WR, TE, and a QB that should be starting at MEAC school, not Miami.

We just won 10 games in the reg season for the first time since 03, and we did this w Golden Guys! The talent level is not at Miami’s standards, yet. Clemson right now is a power house...they’re 3 deep in talent depth....we’re not. At some positions, let’s be honest, we’re not even 1 deep at talent level! We’ve won a lot of games b/c of a culture change here; but, even the biggest culture change can’t overcome playing 10 weeks in a row w/o a bye, losing 3 NFL draftable players from your O, and a roster that’s still not up to NCAA standards.

As much as I wanna yell and blame this or that, the reality is we are ahead of schedule....there’s nothing wrong w that.

Our team did everything on our check list:

Beat FSU (Check)
Beat ND (Check)
Win 10 games (Check)
Win the Coastal (Check)

When Rosier was named our starter, we scoffed at the notion of winning even 9 games!

Am I disappointed this ride didn’t go further? Yes; but we still have a January Bowl to play in, something we haven’t seen since, what, 03-04?? Let’s not let our emotions deceive the reality; we’re not there...YET. BUT, we are building something. The better team won today, but please believe, we won’t be on this side of the L too much longer.

Solid post and good points.

Going into this season, for me, it was all about 2 things:
1) Beat FSU
2) Beat ND

Never expected to win 10 games and play in the ACCCG. Never expected that Miami would be ranked #2 in late November.

If Richt could do this in year two with mostly Golden's leftovers, major key injuries, and a QB that he thought would never play for him, then the future must be bright.

It just doesn't feel like it at the moment after 2 straight bad losses and possibly a third coming up in the bowl game.

Hoping we do NOT play Bama in the OB and get Wisky or Pedophile State so we can go out on a strong note and build off this year and not have three losses in a row to carry into the offseason.

We play either Bama or OSU unfortunately

Bama will probably find it's way into the playoffs. Hoping for Wisky.

We play either Bama or OSU unfortunately

If Bama gets in I think OSU will play USC in the Fiesta but regardless I think we can beat OSU. Not feeling good about a ****ed off Bama team with all their injured defensive guys going up against our offense.
