This loss is embarrassing and the whole football program is to blame. We paid 1.5 million dollars to a crap team to run us out of our own stadium.

Coaches need to put the team in better situations to win. Players need to perform when called upon. Neither of those have been shown with consistency all year.

Most on this board including myself thought 9 to 10 wins this year. And given the money being poured into the program we should.

Having said that let's go back the last few years and look at some games.

2019
Nearly lost to Central Michigan in a game that actually felt like a loss
Lost to an abysmal Georgia Tech team
Lost to Duke
Lost to FIU on the ruins of the OB
Shut out loss to Louisiana Tech

2020
Started off with some good wins none against teams with a pulse that year
Destroyed by Clemson again
Won a bunch of games that could have went either way, then looked great against Duke
Demolished by UNC
Fought hard and came up short in the bowl game

2021
Flattened by Bama
Nearly lost to App St at home
Got leaned on and gassed by a Michigan St team at home
Then rest of the year won and lost games that could have gone either way.

This year has been the same thing. We only look good in games against the Bethune Cookman's of the world. In games against G5 teams we usually let them hang around then usually put them away. Against most the ACC opponents it's a coin flip and against high ranked teams it's usually a blowout loss.

Point is, we have been a bad to mediocre team for years. To expect things to change drastically from one year to the next is not probable.

Only one staff had an unlimited salary to hire coaches who would make sure a loss like this didn’t happen

USC got an offensive coach and he took his QB and playmaker with him. Holy **** would that offense would of looked like if Drake London would of stayed another year. They are definitely further in the rebuild. Mario better get to recruiting. Sucks we didn't get the Joe Brady because it seemed he wanted him early in the search. Our pass offense would probably look different. Let's hope he evaluates everything after the season and get his *** to work now he see how bad things are firsthand
