After LSU and the awful taste of defeat in large part because of Rosier's inability to throw the ball to open receivers, we were calling for revolt and major changes. We viewed the following three games (SSU, Toledo and FIU) as auditions and we expected major changes.

We changed the QB, Scaife and Boulware started to get and are getting major reps, Robert "Tranquilo Bobby" Knowles is playing significantly less, Jhavante (sp?) "Given the WR 20 Yards of Cushion" Dean is playing significantly less, Bandy and Jackson are staying on the field a lot longer, as well as Redwine and Finley. We are playing more than 20 freshmen each game. Wow!

There were other changes we wanted. Many doubted that Richt would make the changes, but has he made the changes that we needed to run the table?

So far so good but I would like to see more performances like the UNC game. Last year we struggled in those games which didn't allow us to get youngsters playing time. If we can continue to get them playing time we have a real shot at running the table next year.

knowles just played 2 snaps against LSU. he played more in games after that one, but the issue is WHEN he plays, nothing good ever happens (the 50 yard run happened when he was on the field).

Agreed, Special Teams haven’t really changed at all besides maybe not putting Thomas back there on PR duty, so he remains fresh for the overall game. Not sure Spicer punting is a major improvement over Feagles weak sister kicking. Hartley does a fantastic job recruiting and doing our TE’s, but he sucks as a ST coach. Instead of Patke doing the LB’s we should’ve picked up a seasoned ST coach with the last assistant pickup.

Otherwise, I’m all for the changes that have been made. The freshmen are all playing like RS frosh, and that’s extremely encouraging for the future, provided we can stack another 1-2 classes after them in similar fashion. Only then will Miami be close to getting back on top of the college football landscape.

We started a different Punter in Spicer to allow Feagles to figure some stuff out. Not sure that Spicer is the answer either but the change was made.

It's almost like Mark Richt is on CIS.

Good on CMR for making the changes that were necessary. I didn't think he had the balls. Especially at QB1, but I'll gladly eat crow on that. Special teams is still abysmal. O-Line is improved but still isn't "there" yet. #20 seemed to be on the field a ton against UNC. Not sure if that was due to Jaquan still being out, the *** raping that was taking place or a combination of both. Either way interested to see how much burn Knowles gets once Jaquan is back.

Admittedly I threw a fit when 12 started the SSU game. But it's hard to complain too much now, new QB, better on third down both sides of the ball, and we saw what the alternate punter can do. I do not think we are good enough in all three phases at the same time to beat Clemson in the title game. But this team seems to be getting rolling quicker than the previous two Richt versions. For all the Diaz hemming and hawing this Defense has largely played spectacular. Most exciting is the ball control UM has shown on Offense sustaining productive clock eating drives...Since the LSU gsme, and the last two in particular UM has been extremely effective running the ball utilizing 4 backs with different skill sets. Could be wrong but this looks like a team that is going to throttle Coastal opponents.

The staff hasn't changed the CB rotation at all. Dean is playing a lot still. Only difference is, Bandy was ejected early in the LSU game so Dean got more minutes than planned.

Changing the QB changed the dynamic of the entire team and for the better.

Run game is better which makes the Passing game better.

That leads to the D playing better.

I will say this though, we’ve now shown we can run the ball against scrubs like UNC and Toledo, can we do that against a d-line with 4/5* players on it.

Probably won't be able to run consistently. Perry will have to connect on his throws. Should be too hard as they let WR run around wide open.

Last season we struggled v bad teams because we couldnt run on anyone, including UNC. That's improvement. I want us to stop teams running it like we did v FIU. I also want adjustments sooner. At times i feel we take too long to adjust to what they are doing that's working

Changes made good changes. A few more need to be made. Most important to me are no more Knowles on defense and hold an all hands punting contest in practice with the winner punting the next game. Do not see how it could be any worse.
