I'm not giving them a pass in the least bit. You can't lose to MTSU. I think we all understand that. I think the staff understands that. ****, I think DBC understands that. But it was 3 weeks ago, and we have more than half the season to play out. Right now, today, October 13th, what would you suggest we do if we aren't giving them a pass? Should we dock their pay? Should they be subject to a public dunk tank? We cut off 1 finger of a random staff member until morale improves? I'm curious as to how this changes?

I'm all for talking ball and seeing what can improve. I'm all for jettisoning Gattis at the end of the season, because I feel we've been hoodwinked there. But today, what would you suggest we do if we're in the camp of not giving the staff a pass?

It’s not that complicated. Internal and external scrutiny leads to changes. It led to the firing of Enos (a coach who by all accounts is well respected in this profession).

Right now today, October 13th, fans and media will continue to scrutinize what we’re seeing with our eyeballs every Saturday and what all that money is paying for.

You mentioned we’re seeing financial backing on an unprecedented level. No doubt a positive development.

But uh, you do know what the consequences of that are right?

It means MORE scrutiny not less. Guess what? That’s how it works in the private sphere and that’s par for the course in any level of high stakes competitive sports.

That trickles down organizationally all the way down to the butts in seats or those who watch at home with the latest merchandise.

That’s not changing anytime soon no matter how much you wish it would.

I don't wish anything would change except for winning football games. That's literally all that matters.

Would it be nice if our fans had more than 7 brain cells and could exhibit a semblance of patience? Yes. But I know that's not possible, so by all means, continue to be as toxic as you can.

99% of the time weve been on this planet you would be married with multiple kids and living on your own by 18.
 
Multiple posters on here are projecting a lot of straw man bullchit on TS. As if he’s whining about negative social media. All these arguments over whether he qualifies as a “kid” as if he’s handling negative press immaturely. Half of these arguments are moot; go back and read the article:

That’s a loaded question and every person is different. People mature at different points in their young life.

For me it’s once you graduate college and start being responsible for yourself in everything and you’re off my fvking health insurance plan, lol.

I personally despise social media and don't have it unless you include CIS lol. Very few positives can be found in that world of negativity and ALOT of people **** their lives away looking at screens just to find out they have accomplished nothing.
