It’s not that complicated. Internal and external scrutiny leads to changes. It led to the firing of Enos (a coach who by all accounts is well respected in this profession).Who is giving them a pass?
And again, what are the alternatives? What would this not giving them a pass entail? Firing the staff? Suspensions? Stop going to the games or supporting the program which has finally, after 20 years of us begging, begun to care about football again?
I'm not giving them a pass in the least bit. You can't lose to MTSU. I think we all understand that. I think the staff understands that. ****, I think DBC understands that. But it was 3 weeks ago, and we have more than half the season to play out. Right now, today, October 13th, what would you suggest we do if we aren't giving them a pass? Should we dock their pay? Should they be subject to a public dunk tank? We cut off 1 finger of a random staff member until morale improves? I'm curious as to how this changes?
I'm all for talking ball and seeing what can improve. I'm all for jettisoning Gattis at the end of the season, because I feel we've been hoodwinked there. But today, what would you suggest we do if we're in the camp of not giving the staff a pass?

Right now today, October 13th, fans and media will continue to scrutinize what we’re seeing with our eyeballs every Saturday and what all that money is paying for.
You mentioned we’re seeing financial backing on an unprecedented level. No doubt a positive development but uh, you do know what the consequences of that are right?
It means MORE scrutiny not less. Guess what? That’s how it works in the private sphere and that’s par for the course in any level of competitive sports.
That’s not changing anytime soon no matter how much you wish it would.
The constant battle you find in life and this board. Lots of men who hate women and then say things like "I have daughters".ah female traits. lol so dumb
I don't wish anything would change except for winning football games. That's literally all that matters.
Would it be nice if our fans had more than 7 brain cells and could exhibit a semblance of patience? Yes. But I know that's not possible, so by all means, continue to be as toxic as you can.
there we go.You have your opinion, and so do I.![]()
How do you hate women if you made a child with one?The constant battle you find in life and this board. Lots of men who hate women and then say things like "I have daughters".
Do those Slapdicks have a Beer for a Cracker, or Nah??There's a bunch of slapdicks on this board. Myself included....
Parents/upbringing and I don’t have another answer to that question.Well how do we change culture without changing how these young men act?
You're definitely one of the cretins on Twitter giving the players death threats. That's for **** sureHow do we fire mario now. I'm not an expert with numbers. He needs to leave now. Get lane kiffin. Please it ain't going to get better. I thought it was a bad. Never hire OFFENSIVE line man
Not making up definitions but you give the impression that every college kid, because they are 18 or older should act, have the standards and be an adult as some 30 year old or older.Legally adults and in college is exactly why they are not kids. Let's not make up definitions for words today.
They could have all the beer they wantDo those Slapdicks have a Beer for a Cracker, or Nah??

That’s a loaded question and every person is different. People mature at different points in their young life.At what age are you a adult if its not 18? 20.... 22.....30?
99% of the time weve been on this planet you would be married with multiple kids and living on your own by 18.
I personally despise social media and don't have it unless you include CIS lol. Very few positives can be found in that world of negativity and ALOT of people **** their lives away looking at screens just to find out they have accomplished nothing. You are off by a bit. Social media is not the underbelly, it is the disposal end of the digestive track.
