That pass to Harley for me, was a thing of beauty. It happens.
This one?

3 of His 8 completions went for 96 yds. & 1TD, that's nice...His other 5 went for 29 yds. & an INT,, not good.

C+.

I think the exact opposite. I would rather have a QB not afraid to make those throws, because when you play the Clemson’s & Bamas there will be tight throwing window spaces. Can’t get gun shy .

No, I'd much rather Him make better pre & post-snap reads and go to Hightower whose DB gave em' a big *** cushion. Not a wise throw.

True but doesn’t change the fact that the throw was in very tight coverage. Can’t really afford to take those gambles against better competition but he’s still learning. I’d much rather see him make that play knowing the potential he has to improve as opposed to what we had at QB before he took over 🤦🏾‍♂️
Harley needs to stay on the ground and stop jumping so **** much! Once he gets that under control he'll be a beast.

With the way Perry attacks the middle of the field it should open up the verticals on the outside. That's the next progression that needs to be evaluated in his game.

I’m not saying never make throws in tight spaces because sometimes you have to but you don’t wanna make a habit of throwing contested passes into double coverage and especially to smaller WRs like Harley.

Anyone else watch that 1st pass of the game holding their breath, watched the pass, and then let a smile creep across their face because you know if that had been 12 it would have been overthrown??
