A very good game for Perry. It had 2 glaring mistakes. Gives him some learning opportunities. He'll get better for it.
Wish he had another meaningful series or two to get some reps but he was solid aside from the 2 mistakes. St. Louis got *****ed tho so can’t blame it all on Perry.

While I know it’s a small sample size but what stands out to me with Perry is we have much fewer 3 and outs so our defense can actually rest I think this will be huge going forward

Not even mad at the Int honestly, I thought it was a decent throw over the LB to Harley. Harley just got out played for the ball.

The int was on target but was thrown against tight coverage and got batted up in the air. At this stage, I'll take questionable decision making over horrible inaccuracy, since the former is more easily correctable

"It was on target..... but in tight coverage." which = great throw!!!!

"Batted up" because the receiver didn't catch it.

"Questionable desicion making"?.........

What exactly do you understand about QB play?

St. Louis got beat bad. I mean bad. Never even got a hand on the DE.

It was on target against tight coverage. What on earth are you having trouble understanding?

Is it not possible for a pass to be thrown accurately AND be contested by tight coverage?

Questionable decision making refers to Perry's decision to throw into such a tight window as opposed to finding another receiver, throwing the ball away, scrambling, ect.

He hit Harley in the chest, he should have caught the ball with his hands period

True but doesn’t change the fact that the throw was in very tight coverage. Can’t really afford to take those gambles against better competition but he’s still learning. I’d much rather see him make that play knowing the potential he has to improve as opposed to what we had at QB before he took over 🤦🏾‍♂️

I think the exact opposite. I would rather have a QB not afraid to make those throws, because when you play the Clemson’s & Bamas there will be tight throwing window spaces. Can’t get gun shy .
