Perry tweet....

No way you put Perry in on the last drive.
If JW scores on the last Drive, it does WONDERS for the maturation process.
Think long term, next time he'll remember the bitter pill he swallowed..

NKosi Perry is a team player and he knows Enos will replace Jarren if Perry takes the job from him.

This isnt popular opinion but I believe NKosi would’ve been more mentally ready for Florida than Jarren was. Not saying the outcome would’ve definitely been different but It’s possible... some of the drives were dead in the water because of mental mistakes not getting out of the huddle fast enough, not commanding the huddle, delay of games etc don’t see Perry having that issue.

Even if there are transfers after this year I think the character in the QB room was seemingly vastly underestimated.
If true that would be huge and welcome change. All to many times we end up with only one choice and it is not that good of one. I long for the day of having a Kelly as senior starter with a Bernie and Vinny as freshmen, and even a dude who eventually becomes HC of major programs as back up. I like what I saw in Jerren -- clam under extreme pressure and great ball placement. More to learn but good start. They others guys will have place to make contributions and should stay the course.

I still think he transfers after season

I hope he does. The kid is a good kid and is clearly never going to start here. Obviously, I love having him as a backup, but I also want whats best for the kid and staying at a school when you are surpassed by a lower classmen is not it.

Class act

They ALL came here to play. EVERYONE of them

Showing how to be even after losing a close competition even when you're extremely competitive

Lol I’m impressed with how you still can manage to surprise me with ur poRsts on this board.

Yes he can start at another school but that won’t give him a better opportunity to make it to the NFL. His best option might be to continue developing under Enos and challenging Jarren Williams bc if JW continues to blank out in games I guarantee NKosi Perry will have another opportunity to start at Miami.

We are talking about transferring at the end of the season. Obviously, if he takes the reigns this year he is not going to transfer. However,if he is still behind Jarren by the end of the season, he better transfer tf out if he wants any chance of playing at the next level.

**** yeah Perry!! It's been said on the CBS sports Cover 3 podcasts by Barton Simmons that soooo many back up QB's have played on teams that have competing for NC's the last years. Tua was a back up, came in to win the Championship, Hurts was a back up, came in to win the SEC. Fromm was a back up to Eason initially and they went to the CFP. Clemsons QB came in last year to help them when Trevor got knocked out. Cardale Jones was a **** 3rd stringer and went on to win the CFP. Crazy to think about honestly. Injuries happen and especially when youre deep in the season.

Glad he keeping it classy. Smart because he will see game action before the year is over.
Maybe sooner than later. All it'll take is a couple of ill-timed picks in the same game, leading to an L. Especially if the QB competition was as close as we are lead to believe. Think it's clear Enos is not THAT enamored of any of three that competed.

This may be a very unpopular opinion & I'm sure people will disagree big time, but I wouldn't have been mad if he took those last few snaps on that last drive...

I know I know he sucks he sucks, I get it, but one thing about him is he'll throw the **** ball he wouldn't have been standing back there holding it, he would've let it rip on 1st down.

I'M NOT SAYING HE SHOULD START NOR AM I SAYING HE'S BETTER THAN JARREN! Just saying, for ONE series while we were still in range to score a TD before it was 3rd & 20+ I feel he could've made just one big throw in the End zone.

I fully realize even typing this I'm throwing rocks at a hornets nest lol
I had the same **** feeling. I knew it was never going to happen, but I felt like if Perry got in there at the end he would have caught fire and ripped a couple in there.

Sometimes thinking outside of the box is warranted. It never crossed my mind until you wrote it. My 1st thought was it makes sense...

I understand this thought but you gotta let your guy go through these situations so he learns and knows how to handle it next time. Sure it would have been great to potentially win the game with Perry in the game but what would that have done for JW next time he's in the same situation? I think Manny and Enos made the right call keeping JW in the game.
