Perry Starting

Okay, so he is not as good as Fields. He still could be good enough to be given at least a chance to play as a QB in a game here. No?
Theoretically, yes. Under the incompetence of Mannynos? No. Like Crossover implied, the only thing Enos likes to spread is his legs as he calls a crappy offense in games.

im an idiot ? because i dont get into ****ing contests with nitwits like you and your little girlfriend over something stupid on a message board ? get lost Nancy ... lol

you just did. also nancy? what are you, 65? go enroll in a retirement home. fyi, you still didnt respond to Urbans UF misses at QB

Lol. Tate was the starter until fields fell in his lap. Go read the ohio state boards. Even they were cheering for tate.

But keep believing perry and Williams are better. Tape proves otherwise.
What tape???

Who has Tate even played against that you could make a legitimate argument that he's better?

Neither Perry or Jarren are all that good, but the idea Tate is just so much better than them because he played a garbage time game vs Rutgers is beyond laughable.

I realize the Tate cult is still alive & well amongst this fanbase but you guys have to admit you all sound completely delusional with some of the stuff yall say.

Tate was not the starter until Fields fell in his lap, Day actively sought after Fields because he didn't feel Tate was good enough to lead the team with him transitioning to be the new HC. He saw him more than any other coach & pushed him out the door as soon as he got the HC job.

Even Enos had to rebuild his mechanics & throwing motion once we got him. You can believe he's a great QB based on HS stats from 3 years ago all you want, be my guest, just at least admit that you simply believe that & don't have any actual proof to support your claim lol.

Look perry and williams don't fit this sorry *** offense and tate definitely doesnt. Tate is a spread option qb.
I'm not trying to say Tate should have started the 1st game. Enos has different play calling for all his QB's. Why cant the kid just have a quarter or so to see what he can do

they saw him all spring, summer, and fall. they knew what he could or couldnt do. ryan day saw him for years and said no thanks.

Because perry and williams haven't been bad. They haven't been great either but qb play hasn't been to the point where the 3rd string guy needs to play.

What tape? Some garbage time vs Rutgers or do you mean his teenage years in Vegas? The only recent 'tape' I have seen showed a guy with such little arm strength he struggled to get his floaters to reach the sideline on out patterns.

I'm not judging their play, I'm judging their health. Perry and Jarren, both, cant be even close to 75% healthy

Stop. They ran Martell out. And big time coaches hoard talent, especially at the QB position. One play away and your backup is in. Day literally helped Martell get eligible immediately. Had no issue with him leaving.

Thats the problem. Ive never said he is great. I said hes better than jarren and perry and the Rutgers game is proof. Neither perry or Williams have looked as good as tate did in that game.

Tate would win more games this year than both of our do called starters.

Agree, makes sense for him to transfer. The reality for us is, Tate came in as the huge splashy-name high profile transfer. I'm sure he was given every opportunity to win the job (and likely our coaches figured he was the front runner when he came as well, as he obviously didn't leave OSU to sit on the bench) yet he gets beat out by BOTH Jarren Williams and Kosi Perry in camp. Williams and Perry. Just chew on that for a minute.

But tate is da gawd, right?!?

@For_The_U Obviously based on how the season has gone the coaches evaluations have been good right? The coaches know what they are doing, right?
