Percentage of fans at the Orlando game

i think our best case is 60-40. would i be shocked at 70-30? no. do i think 70-30? maybe but depends on those canes fans who dont have tickets and are willing to take the drive up and hope the prices drop closer to their budgets on game day.
I was under the impression we received an equal allotment, no? For it to be 70/30 with an equal allotment, roughly 40% of our seats had to be redistributed to Gaytors (given the small percentage of Gaytors who actually sold their seats to Canes on their side). I just find that very hard to believe, but that's on the premise it was an equal allotment.

it was an equal allotment from what i read. neither student body got tickets either from what i heard (but that may not be true). there was no general sale either for this game. the thing that people dont consider is that there are way more gator fans that will take up the rest of the seats not allotted to either school than canes fans, which will make the diff.

Seemed like the Miami side had less tickets available than the gata side... then again, the intelligence quotient to lookup/know what side of the stadium they're on is probably far above the average jort-snorts. Can't wait for taco hotdog to meet the Tarantula.
Flying in from Seattle. Hit. Stick.. etc.

Wht was the original ticket split between the schools? Could have sworn when I got my tix I had the option to choose from one half of the stadium. Could have sworn tix were split 50/50

it was equal but both schools didnt get 50/50 of the entire stadium. each school got 50/50 of the school allotments. think of it like 1/3 for UF 1/3 for Um and 1/3 for citrus club sports essentially (not exact, but the school allotments were 50/50)

This may be the biggest group I may have at my (Lito’s) tailgate. I have roughly 20 heads in my crew attending this game. I have a couple of my staff attending too. I expect 20k Canes at this game.

I'm not just saying this, I'd do it if I could be there myself (unfortunately, I can't because I live in NYC and just started a new job so I don't have the ability to take off the Friday before and fly down, not that it matters), but ANY of you who will be at the game sitting in our side of the field has a duty to make life miserable for any Gaytor fan who infiltrates our sections and cheers for UF. I'm talking about making them regret they went to the game. I don't know why they'd want to be on our side because I've sat in Doak for two games in enemy territory and it wasn't pleasant and there were fights and nonstop arguments (and this includes 2007 when we won up there).

Let's make it unpleasant for them. It's the only way.

It’s gonna be 70/30 gaytor...which will be a good turnout for UM.

Living in Orlando, the percentage of CFB fandom is 40% lizards, 30% f$u, 20% little step child, 5% other, and 5% Cane.

A 70/30 split would be awesome for UM.

The 50/50 split for each school is only a portion of capacity. Florida Citrus Sports holds a certain percentage that they resell as packages that includes the bowl games played there. This is where you will most likely see the numbers tilted to the gators since Orlando is gator country.
thanks for the update. It wont be 50 50 then for sure.

It's going to be a lot closer to 50/50, 40/60 than people think. For one, their entire fanbase thinks this is a gimme for them, but a lot of you are underestimating the amount of UM fans their are in central Florida and the West coast.

Hope you’re right man...and I’d be pleasantly surprised if it’s closer to 50/50. That’d be an awesome turnout for us!!

(But in east Orlando, I just don’t randomly run into many UM fans)

Once we get in the lead the gator fans ignore the game and stop cheering. Quite a few times I've been surrounded by the gator and they get mellow when trounced. Kinda like the nd fans that got real quiet after we made 3rd and 45, quiet or they leave.
