As long as we play well and Kaaya performs, Bruce sticks. UF has nothing on offense, especially at QB!

I will be shocked if he ever signs with UF. They have no OL, not good skills player and an unproven QB

Yep , that kept Scarlett from flipping

His decision wasn't football based.... Gf getting into UF played a big part in that one...

He was never coming but was still committed for months . Last I checked they're both originally University School kids . Hence they love to troll UM. That's not a secret .

So I have major doubts here.

Beard being here and actually recruiting him will be big, win he comes we dont he gone, scarlett was coming but saw we were losing and heard the noise and dipped he didnt troll

As a rule, any recruit that mentions a % when discussing his commitment status is not committed at all (unless the kid mentions 100%).

I would go after Steven Newbold from Carol City. Set up your backup plan now. At least he's not going to Florida state. That's all that matters

We should be going after him regardless.

Kids just sitting under the radar cause he hasn't attended any of the big camps like Nike or Rivals. Legitimate talent.

Give me Newbold and Pinder.

Then.....

if a talent like a "Pie" Young wants in or Dredrick Snelson(Uncle and multiple cousins on the team and he reached out on his own to Miami to commit when he did) wants to come back home. You leave a spot open for them.

Salomon would qualify for this too but his legal troubles are an issue. Victor not coming and I am not as high on him as some.

Im not too high on pinder, i do like newbold, i think snelson is gone, watch if we win this year how all these kids will jump on board, and if the D makes a major improvement watch these defensive kids jump on too, those are big IFs but if we show improvement and ball out they are here if we lay a egg the same last year will happen this year

Agreed except for Pinder and Snelson part.

Pinder I like more than Victor for some reasons. I've seen both live.

My problem with Victor. Plays smaller than his size and not in a good way when I say that and he's very rail thin and fragile. Shaky hands too. Mullen stood out more as a WR than him on that team and he's a CB at the next level. Greene was the best receiver on that team until he recently transferred to IMG. Don't get me wrong, I think Victor has tools to work with but I'm just higher on Pinder. Both run nearly the same laser time, I thought Victor would be faster than his time he ran at Nike Combine.

Pinder is stronger, more aggressive and already knows how to use his size to his advantage against DB's. Pinder is something Miami needs at the position. He's great in blocking to go along with redzone situations.

I look at Victor as a kid that will wow in shorts but when the pads come on. Give me Pinder. That's just my opinion.

The only one I like over Pinder is Salomon at that BIG bodied WR spot. Thing is Salomon not giving Miami the light of day at the moment or any FL school and is looking to leave the state. I would be fine losing out on Salomon if he doesn't end up at one of the big 3. Salomon had come out on his own in the past mentioning he grew up rooting for the Canes and they will always be in his heart but the situation is not what he's looking for. Hint hint, our performance. His legal troubles don't help either. Now I'm sure IF Miami does the work needed to be done on the field we will get a good look from him but I don't feel good about him right now. He's elite though, 6'3" 200+ and runs a laser 4.6 right now. I would take him in a heart beat IF we could.

Snelson will be one of those kids that his recruitment will drag through January. Miami has to show on the field to get him back into the fold. It has nothing to do with American Heritage either. Lot of people feel Heritage has a sour taste against Miami and it's not true. Rumph actually tells his kids that are recruited by Miami that Miami would be the best fit for them. Snelson was very put off by the season Miami had and he wavered. If Miami does what it needs to do, we will be in the thick of it during the hat show in January and February. Not every kid recommits but this is one of those cases that it can apply. Ball is on Miami's court now.

I'll mention. It's well known that FSU is only looking to take 1 more WR. To go with Gavin who is committed to FSU.

Go figure, they have landed some studs in the past two years in Lane, Rudolph, Campbell and Phillips just to name some.

This might play in Miami's favor for Snelson and "Pie" Young which FSU is the biggest competition for Miami for those two. We will have to fight off Bama as well for "Pie". FSU and people close to the situation seem to be very comfortable that they will reel in Nate Craig-Myers and they are looking into taking his brother with him who plays DB to reel Nate in. They have a cousin currently on the team as well in Jacob Pugh.

Even though Miami has Bruce, Mullins and Richards committed. We still have to recruit this position like we have none committed. I always said this would be a great class to take 5-6 WRs and you could take within that 1 or 2 of them as ATH types who can play other positions just in case.

Give me any combination of 5-6 of Mullins, Bruce, Newbold, Victor, Salomon, Richards, Pinder, Snelson, and "Pie"...... and it would be a success.

I really want Miami to go after Shaqs teammate. Marcus Johnson from Oakleaf. I think that kid is legit and explosive.

I like Dymond Lee from Cali. Which is Kaayas teammate from high school and was his favorite target BUT idk whether it's worth leaving the state at all when we have a surplus down here this year in quality. Lee has mentioned he would like to stay close to home though....

This is true somewhat. He does have an ego. He is a great talent regardless and something Miami needs down the road. Great deep threat receiver.

This Velus Jones Jr. kid should be made a priority. Very smart kid who will not have any trouble with academics and runs a 4.3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ejflp7X4xjI

If he's 100% in when all the other SF guys are giving out percentages less than that, bring his *** in. I'd rather have a Cali guy 100% in than a multitude of guys less than 100% in who end up going somewhere else in the end.

Before someone misunderstands what I'm saying...I'd love to have a corps of Bruce/Snelson/Mullins/etc in this class...but if they're only 95% and flirting with elsewhere, and a guy like Dymond Lee is 100% and spurning the likes of USCw and UCLA to come to Miami w/Kaaya...I'll take the 100%.

I agree with all this, im in wait and see mode with pinder, victor is good in camps but i pads not so much, salomoan is a beast but that kid has some major issues, i like snelson i just dont see him recommitting because it rarely happens

Agreed. He'd be a coup if we could steal him away. That kid makes all sorts of plays, and bailed out Kaaya time after time when he did make a bad throw in HS.

In the scenario that Kaaya/Milo do work their magic, and Lee is telling the staff that he's 100% to Miami, then I wouldn't slow play him for the sake of a SF kid that's telling me 70/80/95%...Lee is talented enough to tell a SF thanks but no thanks to if they're not fully committed to coming to Miami.
