Per Pete: Assistant Coach budget around $3 Million

Brown made $275,000 last year and Kuligowski $325,000. Must have misread Diaz or seen a number before 2015.

This could be only the amount of the coaches that have already been hired, remember we still have to officially hire the s/c coach, receivers, tightends and possibly safety and linebacker coach

I agree $3M sounds low, but the truth is we have a good staff but none that demand big bucks. Diaz will probably be the highest at around $500K. Kuligowski is probably around $350. BTW, Richt's staff last year was $4.8M. Also, BTW, Golden's staff last year was very close to $3M as well.

1. diaz will be getting more than 500k more like 700k-800k, he was making almost 600k at mississippi state
2. coach kool was getting 365k at missouri, so he wasnt gonna come here for a discount, so you can say he is prob gonna get 450k

i also think that the 3 million is the price the BOT gave richt but if he needs to go over by a little bit I doubt that would be an issue

kool was getting nothing because he wasn't retained. he's definitely worth more than $365k, but we didn't poach him from mizzou. $450k may be a little high for estimations.

Nothing new here. It was reported shortly after Richt was hired he would have between $3M-$3.5M for assistants which is more than enough to have a solid staff.

BTW, Golden's staff was well under $3M...

LOL we were worried 4M was the total budget, yet now 3M just for assistants isn't good? LOL at these fans.

Google is your friend.....

manny diaz was making about 600k at msu.... 575 salary plus some bonus.

Sure he got a bump... Let's be nice and say he's at 800k. That leaves about 2.2 mil for 8 other coaches if we believe Pete.

At 3 million, we would be at about 24th in assistant salaries, but remember we are unlikely to be paying for a full Oc so our effective rate probably puts us in the top 15 programs in that area

800K for that guy is an absolute disgrace and waste.

Let's be realistic here for a second, which may be too far fetched for this forum.
We ponied up a solid number (were in the in the upper percentile now) for a HC we got a great one, so it had be be shaved somewhere and even then being in the top 30 for ***'t coaches is pretty solid. We got a DC with name with traction and the Dline coach is proven as one of the best, an Co-OC and RB coach as one of the best at his position. They can't and won't be all the best but it's looking good, excited for the rest of the individuals.
If I were CMR, I don't think you need recruiting specialists on this staff. Make great connections with local (which i know takes time) and you'll get the top boys on the squad. Everybody in SFL knows about Miami, now its about making Miami a good business decision (i.e., Michel) and not solely before my family is here (i.e., Yearby), let's keep the kids here 'cause they want too, which I don't think we are that far off.

At least you are consistent in corrupting every thread with the same message. Props!
