PER ESPN, WE HAVE

That's true, but they were also watching Deriq King slice and dice NC State for 400+ yards. VT will play us tough as usual in the beginning, but if everyone is healthy (Brevin) , we should have more than enough firepower to beat the Chokies by, pick a number: 1 point or 25 or 30. I think that team is on the verge of checking out on Justin Bieber Fuente.... wouldn't take much.

Any Given Saturday!! Miami has to come prepared for a dog fight and do what they do.. Miami is definitely a better team, but we can't sleep on VT at home they looking for a big upset and the refs will be on there side.. Miami has to be clicking on both sides, our defense has to play better!! Go CANES 7-1 is the goal..

What's crazy ? That we could beat this team by one or 20? They could come out like angry Hornets, maybe they will, but I don't think it would take much to let the air out of their balloon. They are 4 and 3, and despite all of the obstacles they have had to overcome. I believe Fuente is about out of capital with his team.

ESPNs FPI is a garbage metric (the announcers during Houston - Cincinnati even called out how wrong it looked).
S&P+ is pretty legit, those rankings are solid at predicting winners against the spread. It would have Va tech as a neutral site 1 point favorite, aka a toss up.

Also, that ranking is a lot like our fans. We won and it dropped us down by four (not that I disagree, given how we played) to 23rd

Trying to run up the pool of dumb money before the smart money bets on Miami closer to game time.

Good thing no amount of stats, predictions, money lines, etc have anything to do with the outcome of the game. Fans pay way too much attention to this stuff. Unless you’re betting big money, you’re better off not paying attention to any of it.

38.5 % of winning this game. Why is that. Explain PLEASE.

It's based on the FPI, which is worthless this year. No inter-league play.

How bad. Maryland, which beat the doors off of Penn St., and is 2-1, is ranked about 50 spots below them and their 0-3 record. They're also 20 spots behind Minnesota, who they also beat.
