There’s Michael Jordan and Pele, and then there’s everyone else that’s ever played sports.

That’s the class of athlete he was. It goes beyond being a generational talent or even beyond being the GOAT, those two athletes are the only ones that transcended their sport and dominated so completely that even non-fans watched just to be able to witness greatness.

When you watched Pele, you weren’t watching an athlete, you were watching an artist. RIP.
