If true, then Saban lacks awareness. Kirby tried to hire Cochran away from twice already to be UGA's S&C coach. Kirby pulled out the trump card by offering Cochran an on-field position.

Saban built Bama off the back of Cochran. There was that story of Shula having TVs in the weight room and everything being a cake walk. Or perhaps he just didn't trust him, since you know, he'd have to have been talking privately to Kirby Smart w/o Bamas knowledge to negotiate a deal. Cochran made a business decision and so did Saban IMO

What so Saban is a bad coach now for loosing a strength and conditioning coach. LMFAO. The reason he left Bama is because he is going to get payed more for being a position coach. I think Saban wont have a hard time finding a new one. He can just steal one from any school in the country.
