I know, I know, I'm not asking for credit for stating the obvious.

But the "Dr. Bunsen Honeydew" and "Great Value C. Montgomery Burns" lines are hilarious...

Disagree. I don’t like him, but I respect him for having the balls to actually call people out and go after people. The entire media is a bunch of kiss-asses. Nobody wants to **** anyone off. I’ll give it to Paul, he DGAF. I respect that. Flame me all you want. I don’t ever watch him or listen to him but he has a DGAF gene that VERY few do. Wish we had more of that.

EVERYONE can’t be great. He’s not afraid to say that out loud. (And this is the reason I can’t stand **** Vitale by the way. Not every kid and coach is a gift to the world. Some people suck. Sorry.)

I get your point OBM - and it’s a good one

But being contrarian simply to trigger a response from audiences is not the same as offering well thought-out opinions that happen to go against the grain.

Finebaum is the equivalent of a cynical political hack gaslighting the audience as opposed to someone making a legitimate point he or she actually believes.

Somebody who gives disingenuous opinions for the sake of making a seven-figure salary deserves to be called out

ESPN is now TMZ for sports. Good or bad it is what the people want or they wouldn’t be showing guys like Finebaum, Stephen A, etc. ESPN for me as I have gotten older is strictly just to watch sporting events or the occasional special piece (like a 30for30).

Great example of where all parties involved are morons. No one needed this article to know Paul F. is an assclown shill for the SEC. The fact this butt-hurt Husker felt the need to point this out makes him an assclown himself. Especially given the fact he knows all these sport opinion shows are just that "sports OPINION shows".

They are all meant to have hot takes which bring in viewers, listeners, or web clicks. They need to man up a bit in corn country.

“I'm not interested in the 24/7/365 hot-take buffet that ESPN serves. Much like the food at a real buffet, the one-time "Worldwide Leader's" emphasis on quantity over quality has greatly diminished the product.“
Pretty fair assessment of ESPN and a lot tamer than how I see it. It’s become The View but for (young) men, where they simply create controversy for the sake of getting views, likes and clicks. As another commenter mentioned, I only tune in to that network to watch live events.

I like that attitude dead ***, just keep it a buck and I am cool with it. I respect it as well

They're owned by Disney.... Nuff said.

its all entertainment. ESPN cares about lebron, saban and woke politics.
Their NBA coverage is even worse. Listening to Doris burke then going a half time show with kendrick Perkins mumbling and Stephen A yelling and they sound like neither of them even watch the games. smh
