Belichick's an entirely different class of coach from Saban. He's had to face 16 games a year where every team has equal access to talent. If college apportioned players by a draft, Saban at Alabama would look a lot like his time at the Dolphins.

This is correct. Saban is an unbelievable coach, Bill is just on an entirely different level than anyone

I am a Bills fan, but sensed that the Pats would win. The Bills cannot finish against good opponents in the 4th quarter. They should have beat the Titans and could have/should have beat the Pats tonight. The problem is the same that has caught up with the Chiefs and Ravens. Too much reliance on a QB who can run, scrabble and make the big play. Defenses caught up to Mahomes and are using the same plans against the Ravens and Bills. Keep the QB from running (as much as possible), use safeties to help stop big downfield passes to the most dangerous receivers, and dare the team to run or play the short passing game.

Too much has been put on the QB's ability to make big plays, running or passing. When that doesn't work, those teams don't seem to have an answer on offense. The Pats never forgot the power running game. How many times did Jones pass tonight. Once, twice or three times? Look at the Bucs. Fournette is a beast. Brady knows how to take what the defense gives him. Rogers makes the big plays, but he knows how to do it by reading defenses. I am not sure that Allen on the Bills has that ability.

Too much emphasis placed on QB athleticism instead of fundamental knowledge of the game, along with forgetting the running game. Tyler Murray is playing well. Let's see how far that goes agains the Packers.

Bill is amazing. That game plan tonight, if any other coach ran it, would fail miserably. However, Bill makes it work. Back when he was the Giants DC leading up to Super Bowl XXV, he told the defensive players that in order to will the SB, Thurman Thomas would need to rush for 100 yards. They thought he was crazy, but blanketed the WRs of Buffalo, Thomas ran like crazy, and the Giants won their second championship. The guy is an evil genius.
