Seems like all the ing and badmouthing Rumph did about the U before he got the gig has caused more than one AH kid to go or consider to go somewhere other than the U.

If you bad mouth a place for several years it's hard to just tell them you didn't mean it and were was making it all up.

Should be easy to overcome for Rumph though. Miami has made a bunch of changes including bringing him all the while getting the school in general to finally get serious about football. You basically sell that it's a new day at Miami, the school finally cares and it shows with the hire of Richt.

starts with coaches not kicking bruce and qaun off the team

That's some ignorant stuff there.

if we win for real on the field, this kid is gonna be in play…. All of em will be

So none of his leaders kicks players off their teams?

Giving the NCAA grounds for an investigation, is less important than 2 players? U smooth EX-lax!!

Why do we keep talking about this kid he ain't coming

Why not? If he was such a mortal lock to LSU as the insiders claim, then he would have committed there already. Instead, he's all over the place looking at schools.

1000% correct. Pat might ultimately wind up at LSU, but he's still looking at other schools at this point. As Pat is looking, why not talk about him and hope UM can win a major recruiting battle with him?

I hope our coaches don't give up as quickly as our weasel fans on major local blue chippers.

The same could have been said by other teams about Blades Jr since he just recently committed and actually decommited at one point. We found out later that he was waiting for Fathers Day , but other teams didn't know that and were still thinking they had a chance. Point is kids have their different reasons for waiting to commit and we already know these kids like to "enjoy" the recruiting process , which is why we see the national signing day announcements. Dude is the #1 corner an prolly has a big head. Whether he's a lock anywhere or not he gon drag it outout

Blades has a little stronger connection to UM than Surtain does to LSU. He might wind up there at the end, but he's giving no signs at all that he's this mortal lock to LSU that the local team shouldn't even bother recruiting him.

Pat, Jr. is a nice and humble kid. As his father stated in the article, he is the kind of kid who will fax in his NLOI and will not have an elaborate signing ceremony. That's just not who the young man is. As a result, I don't think that he is looking to build drama and drag anything out. I believe he is actually considering many options, and is going to make the right choice for him and his family.

Fans should but coaches shouldn't.
