Looks like he will contribute on 1st and 2nd downs, but, from someone who’s seen him in person, how reliable is he on obvious passing downs? Didn’t see much backpedaling, dropping into zone, covering a man, or moving from sideline to sideline

I think it was Ivins a while back, maybe Pete or D$ saying he looked really good in space at Paradise camp or some similar camp setting in 7 v 7 drills

Very tough to determine his range based on those highlights, but the staff has put a lot of trust into him by making him the only LB in this class. I personally think they will end up regretting that decision with Owens now leaving.

Need at least one true linebacker to compliment Joyner in the class this year.

If one or more of the current starting linebackers have a good enough year to get drafted in 2018 we won't even be two deep of true stand up linebackers on the rooster.

All of these kids that we bring in that do nothing but rush the passer still have to learn the position.
