I still can't believe this happened. What about the reported fights during training camp? shouldn't those kids be suspended as well?

Can you imagine this happening to any SEC program or any school serious about football?

this ****es me off because it goes beyond football IMO. You're kicking a kid out of college for an entire semester because of a fight? It obviously wasn't serious enough to bring about criminal charges, obviously wasn't serious enough to ban him from campus after it happened..so why is he suspended months later for an entire semester? That's low class and really ****ed up to the kid, beyond football.

The standard for decades was weather or not the police filed charges. Correct me if Im wrong but the police chose not to file charges here, yes?

I'm sure this scuffle resulting in a year suspension is a real boost for recruiting. A clear message that the university is looking out for your best interests.

Isnt there an appeals process here? Most of these school disciplinary council type deals have appeals don't they?
