Pat Narduzzi (yet another fever dream argument for retaining Danny Miaz)

I vote that the term "Banned" be changed to "Fraggled" @RVACane. A testament to his devoted persistence. I think he has earned this distinction and in some way it should be memorialized.

Georgia has maybe the greatest defense ever to play. Oregon, out of the playoffs. OU, out of the playoffs. Louisville without Jackson doesn't go .500.

Narduzzzi definitely benefited when Pickett decided to return. He's in his 5th season. Heck, we might have won the Coastal if he went pro last year.

Banning bad opinions as trolls make message boards boring and it’s how they die. There are no hero’s without villains and horrible takes are funny to bash and clown.

Just as I can ignore his threads, you could have ignored my comment. The point of a message board, however, is to encourage discourse and share thoughts and opinions. When one person hijacks the board with spam it is not doing anything but flaming the board and trying to start fires.

Finally, it’s not just his own threads. He inserts himself into any thread that is for another coach and does the same thing. When you look at the replies, it’s clear that his act has worn thin and he is doing nothing more than trolling.

I don't want to ignore your comments. They don't bother me at all. And the assertion that he's posting 10 threads a day is just beyond ridiculous. If you have to exaggerate for effect its probably not that bad.

And of course the anti-manny lemmings insert themselves into every thread that doesn't start with "Manny sucks" so your final paragraph is pointless..

Fraggled is when he starts a troll thread and logs off for his nap and someone responds to him with a serious response.

There’s a distinction He got infractions for continually starting the same troll threads, not for his opinion. Each one was a point and when it hit 3 points an automatic ban kicked in. He started way more than 3 of these threads.

He doesn’t get to continue to start the same threads after multiple warnings. We’re not going to continue to play cat and mouse with someone.

I get it he’s a pain in the ***. Just temp ban him tho because we need him to kick around in these trying times.
 
Since this has now turned into a discussion on fraggle, I'll weigh in.

Anyone who knows me as a Moderator over the 20+ years Ive been moderating various Canes sites (yikes!) knows that I tend to stick up for the people with outlying opinions who are not afraid to stand up to the group-think that permeates so many boards. The fraggle example is no different. I had his back behind closed doors on a handful of occasions.

That said, fraggle was not really making counter-arguments. He was essentially lobbing inflammatory crap onto the board and not engaging in the necessary follow up discussion to legitimize the counter opinions. I despise the term "troll" and think its among the most overused term on the internet so I wont reference it here, but what we've come to see from fraggle over the past couple years has been an abundance of gaslit threads that brought little to no value to the quality of discussion here.


At some point even I had to do this.

It’s temporary, believe me, I don’t want to keep doing this. He’s not a mean person. But he can’t just keep starting these threads that are purposely pouring gas into a fire with nothing.

It’s what you said. There’s no substance to it. It’s post inflammatory item as a thread, log off immediately and then return hours later to do the same thing.

Here’s another instance. He posted one of these threads and I responded and explained to him that Manny played injured players he shouldn’t have and that it was not a good thing essentially. Fraggle challenged me demanding me to name one player and I named two. He never responded to that. He ignored it and went back to starting the same threads.

Is this moron serious... No part of pat narduzzi was Pitts issue. And whether y'all wanna hear it or not fans don't move the needle when it relates to what you should or shouldn't do with your program UNLESS it's also the decisions of the individuals who are responsible for those decisions. Not all boards are into sabotage and self promotion as much as ours are.
