Pat Narduzzi to Pitt

I don't get the Narduzzi hype.

He's definitely an unproven head coach.
I still think it is a good hire for Pitt as the Big10/MichiganState-style approach
will work well with the type of talent in Pitt's backyard.
Also, Narduzzi has alot of ties to eastern Ohio, especially Youngstown, which has
been a good area for Pitt in the past.
Unproven coach, but not a bad hire, IMO.

Al would have killed it at Pitt with PA and NJ recruits.

He should have stayed right in the NE with his tie wearin', tan high-water khakis-lovin' a**.

I think it's because he has patterned his defenses after the Miami defenses of years past.

I still don't get it. Dantonio has always been a great defensive football coach. So, it's not one of those deals where the DC came in and completely took over that side of the ball for an offensive-minded coach and was solely responsible for getting things going. He's done a nice job there, but he's never been a HC, and there are questions as to how much of that defensive success is him and how much is Dantonio.

This dude's a huge question mark. Might turn out great; might not. It's a total gamble.

I agree although it's always a crap shoot with coordinators. I will say its Pitt so this is a good hire for them. They aren't getting a huge name, so it's either get a coordinator or a small school HC.

How the **** does Pitt get a stud like Narduzzi, and were sitting here with Golden. This is unbelievable. Well, were losing to Pitt again next year... **** man, this is BS
