He is speaking to the Pitt fans, who want him to explain how they lost to a 3-4 Miami team.

In other words, “we really didnt lose to a 4 loss team, that team is much better than their record, so dont be too upset, that Miami team wont lose another game.”

Well coach, i hope yall lose to either Duke, UNC or Syracuse if we do win out! And UVA loses to either Pitt or Va Tech.

Le go! I want in! We want Wake! We want Wake!

Yeah not a good look, but it was the official on his (pitt's) side which I believe was the far side of the field, I.E. Rooster ran closer to the Miami sideline so maybe that guy made the call?

Also inverse this, they call it a safety, no camera angle to turn it over, we lose,, Manny gets asked the same question and responds "I asked the linesman on my side and he said he could not see it so he called it a safety" it is what it is at that point. It was close no doubt, but if you could not see him get out, he likely could not see a safety.

Way to set the bar high there Pat.

Those 4 teams are a combined 10-17 against FBS opponents, with 2 of those wins coming against Kansas and UMass and 2 more against one another. Those 17 loses don't even include 2 loses to FCS opponents. Three of those four head coaches are thought to be on the hot seat.

Tbh he's right though. We should go 4-0. But not for any reason other than those are 4 terrible teams with terrible rosters and coaches nearing their end.

Oh yeah definitely trying to sugar coat the loss saying they got caught by a hot team whose coaching and playing with their hair on fire

Same. I listened to him. Seems like a straightshooter all the way - I can see why he's well liked.

Also, the trash talk thing happened at the 9:30 mark. TL; DR: some UM and Pitt guys were playing some online video game where trash talk ensued. That supposedly the reason why one of their more level headed guys committed a PF during the game b/c he was rattled during these trash talking video game sessions. LOL
