Pass rush next year

Have you seen anything from our coaches to suggest we will do anything different? They won't change the scheme, they don't know how to use our athletes.

You guys are living in a dream world if you think they are all of a sudden going to let the DL shoot gaps and play upfield. Those 4 guys will be lucky to get get 15 sacks total.

Zero pass rush as long as they keep trotting out there 3 DTs in frog stance.

People really are stupid.

Golden's teams have never gotten over 30 sacks in a season here. They ranked in the 70s this season. His philosophy is not conducive to high sack totals. Or pressuring a QB. Or winning games.

He'll waste a year of these guys, which is depressing because I'll line up kids like McCord, AQM, Thomas, D Jackson vs any program in the country when it comes to elite pass rushers. Those 4 kids right there should lead a defense that makes QB's shlt and **** themselves all while puking through their nose.

But next year they'll be in the "dog about to take a shlt stance" or spend most plays drifting in the flats trying to figure out which zone to be in.
 
D line will be best he has had since being here next year. LB's will probably close to the worst as a unit if not the worst he's had here and that is his doing/unlucky with a couple rapists. D backs will also be the best he's had.

Our D has been the Achilles since he has arrived. Most is on scheme the other 35% is on the caliber or player as well.

Next year we will get a better glimpse of how well this "scheme" really works.

I'm not defending it at all bc I would go back to a 4-3 if it were me.

how many times have we said that..."this is best d-line we've had in years....this is best lb core we've had in years....this is the best secondary we've had in years...." my god....the kool-aid is gone....no more licking the residue...that ish is done.

Fact is we ranked 70th in the country in sacking the qb....we ranked bottom 100 in quarterback pressure. If we take away Ark St and FAMU...we still gave up 27pts per game. We had 3 games this season w/ 0...that's right 0 sacks or qb pressures. We are on a 3 game losing streak including the last 2 getting our brains beat in, methodically, by two sub 500 teams. We are not trending at all.

Stop w/ the "glimpse" and all that bull. It's OVER. We are who we are...a passive read and react team. If it looks, quacks, and walks, like a duck, you play in the duck commander bowl....(ta-dah!)
 
If there is one thing that will NEVER happen it's the lineman consistently getting sacks.

I swear to god I'm not exaggerating, if you put Aldon Smith, JJ Watt, Vince Wilfork, Ndamukong Suh, and Von Miller back in college with this scheme they wouldn't do **** either until they said **** it and ignored the pattycake.

All DL do is tie up the line of scrimmage while making QB scrubs look like Heisman candidates.
