Partridge vs. Patrick - tale of the tape.

Does everyone realize that Aaron Donald was NOT coached by Patridge?

KP had JPP at USF and Chubb at NC State and at one point a couple years ago had more DL in the NFL than any other coach.
But he did coach JJ Watt on Wisconsin who was a walk-on...

KP had all 4 guys from his 2017 NC State line in the NFL. Does 3 years ago count for you or was that too long ago also?
Pitt has Jaylen Twymen, Rashad Weaver and Patrick jones all projected to go in the first three rounds of the 2021 draft but I’m not talking about just putting guys in the league. I’m taking about on field results. This year, Pitt was fourth in rush defense, third in yards per carry, second in sacks per game and second in tackles for loss per game. The numbers speak for themselves.

Kevin Patrick also coached a FAU 2020 Freshman All American NT Evan Anderson.

Coming out of Jones HS in Orlando,FL Anderson was low 3* recruit ranked as the 147th best Offensive Guard in the 2020 class and kevin Patrick turned him into a Freshman All American Nose Tackle. That is the essence of dline coaching and player development right there. Partridge can go kick rocks. #BringKP2DaU

I would love pitts coach but idk if he would make that move if he doesn’t get a significant pay day and i think we can get Patrick on the cheap and still get more support staff!

Can’t go wrong with either. Pitt is about to putt three defensive linemen in the draft this year. Probably top four rounds. They also took calijah kancey who “wasn’t good enough to play here” and turned him into a solid player as a freshman

Why would either leave their job to work with dead man walking Manny?

Diaz isn't a dead man walking, his seat isn't even remotely warm. If you think his job is in jeopardy then you must have just started following the Canes. Virtually no chance he gets fired before the end of the 2022 season, and his dad's clout will get him a fifth year for sure. So he's the UM coach for at least 3 more years, which is an eternity for a HC in CFB.

Rashad Weaver was a three star guy from my high school alma mater (Cooper City) in Broward that should be a day two pick. He put up numbers similar to Jaelan Phillips this year.

Just curious. How many had Laslee on the short list before he was announced?
not sure, but i had heard his name but wrote it off as a pipe dream ... facts is facts tho ... he goes after big fish, enos was the man but turned out to be trash ... believe it or not baker was a big deal too ... just gotta keep shooting your shot til we breakthrough
