Nah I know that is how it is lol, it is just pathetic that a "free country" allows this to happen when tons of parolees didn't even commit a crime.
The most common misconception of our criminal justice system (i.e., that a conviction is always representative of the truth) is demonstrated by the phrase: "You do the crime, you pay the time."
A more accurate phrase would be: "You get convicted of the crime, you pay the time."
