Since I’m not getting any help from the HRS site or the UM ticket office maybe someone here can help me out. Last week I entered the Stadium grounds through the regular entrance I always use (northernmost entrance on 27 ave). Once inside, I would always take the right and park in the western Orange Lot. My seats are on the west side of the stadium. Last week they funneled everyone to the East side of the stadium and I ended up parking as far as physically possible from my seats. I thought maybe they had closed the western orange lot but I saw that it was still open when I was walking to the gate closest to my section.

Does anyone know if you need to use a different entrance to park in the west orange lot? I didn’t get there particularly early last week but since the crowd wasn’t very big, I doubt they completely filled the whole west side of the stadium parking lot

I am the LAST person to defend the UM Athletic Department, Hard Rock, or the Miami cops. However, in my multiple conversations with UM (which finally resulted in getting my Green Lot passes switched to Orange for this year) I was told that the F1 track construction is going to result in various shifts in the terrain throughout the season. It MIGHT have been the case that LAST WEEK some of the west-side Orange was unavailable due to construction, and maybe all those spots are available this week.

Bottom line, I don't think it was a "season-long" decision to shift West-Orange to East-Orange.

I access the orange lot through the turnpike and it couldn't be any easier.

Orange lot on the East side of the stadium or west side? The reason I get off the turnpike at 27 ave is to park on the west side of the stadium

I did see that the west orange lot was open and cars were parked there, they just wouldn’t let me access it through the entrance I used

When they re-routed you, did they take you along the north side of the stadium? I'm wondering if there was an issue with that particular north-side entrance, so that "north" access from 203rd Street was an issue, while "south" access from 199th was fine. I park on the East side, so I'm not fully up to speed with how many access points there are on the West side since the construction of the Dolphins practice facility and the tennis center. What the west-side parking lot needs now is a mini-mall and a 9-hole golf course.

i think you have to go around the whole **** thing. they don't even have a blue lot anymore thats non directional like they said they would

Yes, we were routed along the north side of the stadium and ended up parking on the east side, right near the turnpike o-ramp. Which, by the way was closed to northbound traffic leaving the stadium so I had to take the turnpike south, sit in bumper to bumper traffic, only to turn around and go back north again. I was wondering if the second entrance off 27 ave would give me access to the west orange lot.


I think I'm just going to drive around the perimeter of the stadium until I can find a spot on the west side on Saturday.
