Parking passes wtf..

It's a bit of a pain but once you're out the gates, it's a quick ride to the highway. No driving through the city on a bunch of narrow, one way streets like in little Havana. Usually after a game, I'll pull out the cooler and have a beer and some food while I wait for the traffic leaving the stadium to die down. I always save half a sandwich for post game.

This x1000. They make it extremely easy to get out of there. Thats why I stopped going to Marlins games last year. Besides the fact that they suck, those bums directing traffic had me going in the opposite direction of the highway! There were probably 8,000 fans there but they closed streets like this was some sellout crowd! I was ****ed. Took me 20min opposite of the main highway to get back on i95N. That was the last time they saw me outside of going to the USA vs Dominican Republic game.

Kudos to the HR stadium folks for getting that part right.

I always parked on the street for free - that usually meant parking all the way down by Citrus Grove Middle, but free, and very simple to get out, even after the big games.

Yes, if you want to park a half mile from the stadium, you can for free or very cheep. I parked in the lot under 836 a couple times. I believe it was only like $5. There's free parking at Hard Rock too. There's a lot on the west side of 27th ave that is free to park. There's no tailgating permitted but beggars can't be choosers.

Sounds like Hard Rock will be a packed house which is good. Heard that FSU sent back thousands of tickets they couldn’t sell. If true, it will be a true home crowd for our Canes to slaughter the Semenholes. Can’t wait to see it!

The hassle of trying to get out of Hard Rock is worse IMO.

Not even close. It could take hours to get out of Little Havana, that area didn't have nearly the infrastructure to deal with those crowds. Hard Rock is merely getting out of a huge parking lot, then hitting the freeway. Pretty easy.

Never took me an hour. You must have been blocked. Last FSU home game took me 1 hour to get out of the yellow lot and another 45 mins to get on the Interstate. But that's fine.
