Where a good is spot 100% depends on how early y'all plan on getting there. UF tailgates do NOT start as early as Miami tailgates, except for the RV ones, and you can't park there anyway. For a 3:30 game, the main action won't be getting good until noon. If y'all want to start setting up and drinking early, you can definitely beat them to street parking.
TOC is spot on with his advice about campus parking.
UF / Gville bus is VERY reliable, but makes a zillion stops at every other apartment complex. I don't remember it running as often on weekends though? Uber would be better.
You can find a spot in Midtown (University north of stadium) in front of houses if you get there early, but it will take forever to get out. But if you just go to Midtown bars and drink afterwards, you'll be fine).
Watch out for the towing signs, they DO NOT PLAY. It is NOT worth the risk.

They lied. The two years I went to bschool there not ONCE was I ever able to get a spot at the law school. You will not get a spot for this game, especially with alumni in town. Make other plans.
Edit: You can try earlier on Friday, right when you're able to park for free for the weekend, and you might be able to. I think 5pm on Friday is when you're able to park on campus without a permit for the weekend. Not sure if the law school is going to have any events though - maybe some alums can let y'all know the schedule.

I don’t know, but assume yes. On 8/1 I’ll email them back to get more specifics. There is also a church next to them that sells parking spaces. I’ll reach out to them too and let everyone know.

Says you CAN tailgate but not guaranteed. There is some photos of people tailgating there though, opens at 8am, seems to be about $40 for a spot.

Their link says they are sold out which ****es me off. I just emailed the lady a few days ago and she said they had not opened utility up. I asked her to email me when they do so I could buy a spot. She never send me anything.
I’ll reach back out to the Women’s Club next door to them tonight.
