Parking for acc championship game

I see where we can buy reserve parking passes around the stadium or is the parking not that busy that waiting to game day would be ok. I've never been to Charlotte so any advice would be appreciated.

The stadium is in downtown (uptown as we call it) Charlotte. There is no stadium parking lot per se. All of the parking is for the office buildings. It really depends how close you want to park. If you want to park immediately around the stadium, those lots get full very quickly. It's almost like finding parking around the Orange Bowl. If you are willing to walk 15 minutes, there are plenty of parking lots and decks.
 
I honestly wouldnt driver to the game. Game traffic is literally like the grey and black "ants" on an old tv. Uber, park and ride, or mono rail, depending on where your hotel is.
 
There are numerous private lots within short walk to stadium, just get there about 3-4 hours early. Traffic in and out pretty simple also.
 
The main thing with parking for the ACCCG is that traffic around the stadium will be a mess starting around 1pm. Fanfare is outside and they are shutting down a good half mile of a major street to hold events etc

I see where some of the lots open at 12 so we will get there early and don't mind a 20 minute walk so we will just park in the first place we find , surely there will be other Cane fans in every parking lot
