Big guys don’t necessarily have better knees or ankles than small guys. Nor are they shown to be more “durable”. Like you said its a weird myth.I know it's just high school...

Physique determining durability is a long overused myth. Tons of big/swole RB's in the history of football have shown to be fragile as glass.
A small guy may feel a hit more since he is giving away more pounds to the defender, but the concept that this somehow equates to more injuries has never made sense.
