You are trippin if you think PSU wouldn't jump on this dude if he didn't want to go there. Looks like they have 1 safety commit and Ford is ranked 91 by 247, 103 by ESPN, 67 by Rivals, and 71 by Scout. So basically this dude is looked at as a top 100 guy by ever scouting service.
Yet you think that because they have 1 commit (Jonathan Sutherland) ranked 277 by 247, Not even ranked in the top 300 by ESPN or Rivals, and 154 by Scout, that they don't view Ford as a take. lol get out of here with that.

And I could understand him not being a take at Michigan, but I doubt that as well. Theres a difference between the school not proactively trying to get a guy and him not being a take. We aren't on Najee Harris, but if he calls and says he'll enroll tomorrow, you better believe he'd be a take.

I have simply stated that recent cane crootin history tells you that the particulars of this case tells us that he aint comin...I always give reasons.. its not like im just saying he aint comin for no reason. at our best its a long shot...and that crooting vets should be ashamed to get excited over tweets and instagram followings because weve all seen this story before.. Of course Im not gonna be right all the time... You wanna clown me for giving my opinion? its all good..its all entertainment...Differing opinions/personalities is what makes a board like this great.

Maybe it's just me but all this trolling & shifting on um & trying to act like because something happened previously automatically infers it must happen again is what makes this board & others like it infuriating. In my eyes the only thing good about this board is a small handful of posters & Pete & d $. Honestly the vast majority simply convince me they're band wagon fans or no fans at all.

Well the vast majority aren't bandwagon fans cause that would suggest success on the field. Look most of us are hurt bout what's been happening. We keep getting embarrassed time after time. If we were bandwagon fans we have left in 2010......
At some point you call bull**** for what it is and even when someone comes around to right the ship, can you really blame a beaten dog to be hesitant?

Some people need a CIS holiday. It's not that serious.

We have competent coaching that develops talent, makes in-game adjustments, and has good schemes. The only thing we need are players that fit the system; kids with high levels of athleticism and natural ability, because that's the only limiting factor to success at this stage. So stars be damned, I think we're gonna be okay. We were never gonna win a Natty this season and, in hindsight, I feel damned good about where the program is headed while looking forward to another step forward in 2017.

It's been barely over a year and not even the staff's first recruiting class, but some guys have already declared this class and overall recruiting a failure? NSD is ~3 weeks away and the anxiety seems to be so paralyzing, that some posters can't enjoy the process of coming back to prominence without the PTSD and doubt taking over their thoughts at every turn. There seems to be a lot of trauma bonding and distortions of reality going on, but I can only hope some of you will be able to move forward on 2/2/2017.. I for one think the class will be just fine. I don't believe any one recruit will determine how far we go next season, and that's a good thing. It means we have a solid program and talented team that's headed in the right direction.

Your optimism definitely shows that you are new to this. Look some of us have been around and we know when we see BS. Miami isn't recruiting at the level it needs to at this point in time to even win the ACC. We are getting some nice talent here and there but overall are falling short. I
hope I'm proven wrong with this class though.
 
Thank god there's guys here " keeping it real" about recruits we already know we probably won't get. So no more threads about guys we probably won't get, even though he's visiting or might be interested. Not even a discussion about their name , that just means you're a slurper or blind

If you read what I said earlier, I said that he has serious off the field concerns, with that being said, he is not a take for Franklin or Harbaugh due to these issues. They don't want to deal with a kid that has been kicked off his high school team and someone who has questionable character.

I think the three freshman all Americans might have something to say about that. That's the really funny ****.all yall complained about last year's class & look what it did for us. You speak about past when I'd bet you know **** about it. Our recruiting has never been no world beaters. It's our coaches like rumph who coached up the talent we did have that made us world beaters... you haven't seen what's gonna be signed yet the noose is still tight. **** it go ahead & do it. Kill urself.

You guys turned me on to it with that Adidas commercial and when I played it for my young kids who live in the DC/MD/VA area, they looked at me like I was crazy bc they knew it. Now they got me playing Purple Lamborghini every time they get in the car.
