Williams was home sick and Horton wanted an $EC WR1 payment which would have set a precedent for all the younger WRs .... especially for someone that was WR3

I hope he stays. That room just needs a little patience and we have pretty good continuity lined up. There is going to be a lot of reps for the first guy off the bench that can play either tackle or guard. If Pancake, Kinsler, and McCoy can get a little playing time this year it would sure be nice before they step into start next year when potentially Cooper/Bell/Mauigoa declare.

I still have hopes for Samson. He was set back by a knee injury that cost him most of his true freshman season. This is long setback since he spent time rehabbing the injury rather than training.

You want the best 5 on the line regardless of position, and imo Francis’s best position in the NFL is probably guard.
