Palm Beach Post Article on Woes of Miami Offensive Line

I know this may be crazy but just a thought. Maybe we should recruit some defensive linemen with a nasty mean streak in them and convert them into OL

Any team with a pulse defensively kicks our butt upfront, it's pitiful to watch. Seems like it's been that way for the last 10 years at least

Our OL was pretty stout that 1 or maybe 2 year stretch with Flowers, Brandon Linder, Shane McDermott, Feliciano, and Seantrel Henderson

Then it was Flowers, Feliciano, McDermott, Isidora/Gadbois and Darling/Odogwu.

Those 2 years were the last time I remember being able to hold some ground on the OL. I guess that was 2013 and 2014. Mainly because the guys in the middle (Feliciano, Linder, Isidora) were nasty and obviously talented as they're all still playing at a high level in the NFL.

Or how about just going into Iowa/Wisconsin/Minnesota and showering OL with offers? They **** near grow on trees out there.

but the last one we got out of there Dykstra has been mostly a jag up till this point

Eventually they're going to have to start holding Searles accountable. They've been the weak link of the offense for three years now.

Stoutland is a fantastic OL coach and brought in some great talent too

Searles ain't it.

I just found out, remember the game we dominated VT with Wefense back in 2014 in Blacksburg? Take a wild guess who was the O-line coach...

Searles isn't good and he is getting paid the most while producing the least of our asst. coaches.

It's gotten so bad that all I care about from a recruiting standpoint is OL. So long as the coaching is ok, we will always get our share of skill-position talent. It's the OL that is the big problem for this program.

I have faith in the lineup of St. Louis -- Manhoney -- Gauthier -- Donaldson -- Scaife

Interesting

Don’t know jack about oline coaching. But how is it that other schools have better oline with lesser rated kids? Maybe it’s this whole scheme play calling back and forth that many say on here. But eventually it will affect recruiting at the position you need the most because the product you put on the field isn’t working. There is going to have to be a change somewhere and it better happen soon.
Foster must be salivating to play us again.

They should just play he 1st quarter against savanah state over and over again in the locker room cause watching that was like passing a kidney stone.
