The PAC 12 announced a partnership with a test manufacturer that produces a test with results in 15 minutes. "This is a game changer" according to PAC 12 Commish Larry Scott.
I know you meant as a joke but it actually is. The manufacturer has been selling to nursing homes, professional teams and hospitals for a few months now and the govt bought a sh*t ton recently, hence backorders for everyone else.I'm sure it's accurate
If nothing else; the rapid result test is good for everyone.I know you meant as a joke but it actually is. The manufacturer has been selling to nursing homes, professional teams and hospitals for a few months now and the govt bought a sh*t ton recently, hence backorders for everyone else.

Indeed. This does change things. I expect them now to resume play on December 31, 2020.Pac-12 deal for daily COVID tests is 'major step'
A new partnership with Quidel will provide a COVID-19 testing machine on each Pac-12 campus by the end of this month, but it is unclear how the capability will impact the conference's return-to-play timeline.www.espn.com
Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott called the development a "game-changer," and said the availability of rapid testing will allow the conference to consider resuming competitive activities before Jan. 1, 2021. Scott didn't provide a firm timeline for how it will impact the conference's return-to-play timeline because of other to-be-determine variables.

No, it was a joke. I didn't expect them to return prior to a spring season given the total lack of a push by players or coaches prior to yesterday. Are you serious?

Yeah, as soon as the Big pops, the Pac will emerge from their shell and say "we're in too"!!!Larry Scott is being paid almost $5M a year to say "Do what the Big 10 does."
