Owens, Willis and Gus

I keep forgetting about Willis! With Klug we got some helluva potential! If Guys like Willis, Norton, Moten, Scott Patchen and McIntosh come through then I'm confident we can compete with anybody in our conference including Clemson.
Watching Norton yesterday it was evident that he is NOT a college DT. Slow off the ball, feet don't move. No wonder he signed with us, Dorito was only saying he could be a DT but his other offers were saying he was OLineman. Richt needs to call a spade a spade and move Norton to OLine. His explosiveness off the ball is terrible, very much a prototypical Dorito slow and can't move DL
There's a coach named KOOL who is coming to fix this !!!!, and every guy on the D-line...Can you imagine Quan next year?

I wouldn't be surprised if Homer passes by the mediocre talents we currently have at RB.

I believe Gus is going to drop about 5-10 lbs and be a productive back in Mark Richt's system. caveat, if we get a semi-functional Oline i think he could be very productive. I was bullish on Gus coming into the year and I base that on the VTech game when we blew them out in blacksburg that i thought the "light" came on for Gus in relation to running behind his pads and with some anger and aggression. Great running backs usually run "angry"

Next year is gonna be Waltons backfield IMO. Gus and Yearby are gonna be great depth but Walton is the most complete back and for a kid that could still be in high school, I don't think it takes long for him to distance himself.
Ya your right... that's why gus the biggest and fastest rb on the team who was starting rb till injured in camp will just roll over and not compete.

Gus is the type of rb richt likes
