Best case scenario is that Golden is offered one of these lower-tier jobs and takes it, ala Frank Haith leaving Missouri for Tulsa.

Even though Shalala has one foot out the door, we aren't going to fire Folden and burden a brand new President with the task of hiring a new coach. It sucks, but it's the reality.

The good news is that I think Golden genuinely hates it here and if Illinois, UVA, or another ****hole program that doesn't have expectations offers him, he will take it.
