4 - 73 and a TD. Great game plan to run it a whopping 4x.
One of the few things he had been doing well. They don't trust bauman enough to block on that play.
I was also surprised at the lack of speed in their secondary. Fletcher ran right past them and Mali did the same.I thought we had a clear speed advantage and played right into their hands with condensed formations up the middle. Should have had the offense wide open.
Couldn't agree more. I kept calling for it last night because Indiana kept pinching the A gaps inside.4 - 73 and a TD. Great game plan to run it a whopping 4x.
First half yes; second half Dawson just have took some prevegen because he called a **** of a half.I thought we had a clear speed advantage and played right into their hands with condensed formations up the middle. Should have had the offense wide open.

Carson sucks at RPO though. Was never going to be part of the game planA little RPO to help control the Lbs would have been great
No legit creativity on O. Could have lined him up at fullback and handed him the ball. He would have wrecked that D for a TD. But that’s just me, Tueday morning QB. Oh, well…CiCi is a monster
You think if he was in the booth he’d see it, or be just as obtuse?Back to the topic: the sheer volume of folks screaming for outside zone or stretch for about 80 pages of the game day thread is why Dawson is so frustrating.
It was clear as day to a bunch of jags on a message board what to do.
Did we run it 4 times? I only recall twice. One for the TD and one for around 10 yard with Fletcher breaking two tackles by DBs. Had we not had a blocked punt and gotten the ball back, we run it more. Instead we were playing from two scores down and ran out of clock to run the ball.4 - 73 and a TD. Great game plan to run it a whopping 4x.
Our Hubris came back and killed us SMU style, just thinking being bigger would be enough, we spent a half burning thru 3 and outs (some with 3 quick passes also) but when we would get in short yardage we could not just A gap our way thru, to predictable and we were back in SMU mode.. FMLI thought we had a clear speed advantage and played right into their hands with condensed formations up the middle. Should have had the offense wide open.
